I interrupt my regular programming with a few short posts on travel essentials (not this one). As the week leading to our departure for Japan progressed, I had wanted to do at least one of the following:
1. Finish my Avon Ultra Color Absolute Lipsticks’ Second Batch of FOTDs
2. Upload my Divergent-inspired looks that I shot a couple of weeks back. I loved the books (except maybe for the third one just a teeny bit because I love me some Avril Lavigne ending) and adored the movie even more. I can’t wait for the next installment! Theo James is beyond words as Four (yeah I know I’m fangirling) and Shailene is divine as Tris. A tad too tall for my imagined character when reading the books but their pairing and chemistry I absolutely commend. I say this with a bit of a bitter taste after my Rose and Dimitri characters were diminished by the movie adaptation. (Okay now I’m just digressing.)
3. Finish the words and format of even more Avon 36 for 36 posts, the photos of which I have already done before.
4. Basically just catch up with all my pending posts (of which I have plenty) and schedule for upload while I am away.
But if you know me and my daily schedule combined with being a bit sick and packing for the trip, well let’s just say all those didn’t happen so I’m now posting on the go. I write this narrative mid-air as I have missed writing freeform wherein I’m not so much concerned with editing or sticking to a particular tone.
I don’t even know when I’ll have wifi access to actually post this but hey, all I really want right now is some semblance of movement and yes, I want to post about my in-flight and travel essentials. A last minute edit of my makeup kit left me with practically no eyeshadows to play with as I refused to believe that I don’t travel light. Oh well, we do the best we can with we have or else, we go shopping!
