It’s been quite some time since I featured a K-Beauty brand here at LxL so I’m coming back today with a skincare brand using natural ingredients, Nacific.
The brand name is a contracted version of Natural Pacific. Like most Korean skincare brands I’m familiar with, Nacific is trendy, effective, and uses premium quality ingredients from nature. One of their most popular product is the Nacific Fresh Herb Origin Serum 50ml (P760) nicknamed the “Damn Serum”, so I got really interested in their serum lineup.
That “Damn Serum” was called such because you will supposedly feel a stinging sensation and how bad it feels would depend on how damaged your skin barrier is. It’s popularity is attributed to top actress Jun Ji Hyun (My Love from the Star, Legend of the Blue Sea, Netflix’s Kingdom), who called it one of her holy grails. That’s a pretty good endorsement since her skin looks smooth and glowing.
The Nacific Fresh Herb Origin Serum 50ml (P760) is part of the Nacific Day And Night Set (P1,350), recommended for night use since the Vitamin C in it can react to sunlight and cause skin problems. The other half of the set is the Nacific Phyto Niacin Whitening Essence 50ml (P760), useful for removing dark spots and brightening dull skin. It’s main ingredients are Bamboo Vulgaris (Bamboo) Extract, 5% Niacinamide, Sodium Hyaluronate, and Vitamin C derivatives.
They also have essences with flowers as main ingredients: the Nacific Real Floral Rose Essence (P760) and the Nacific Real Floral Calendula Essence (P760). The former focuses on moisture to improve skin elasticity while the latter focuses on hydrating and soothing irritated skin.
Another option for irritated, sensitive skin is the Nacific Fresh Cica Plus Clear Serum 50ml (P740). With Centella Asiatica or Cica as it’s main ingredient, it’s also good for acne-prone skin.
Acne-prone skin or those with uneven skin tone will also benefit from the Nacific Pink AHABHA Serum 50ml (P740). One can tell from the name itself that the main ingredients are AHA and BHA, both well-known for chemical exfoliation. The product also uses Watermelon Extract for moisture .
