Ever since I tried out Lanbena products last July, the brand has grown on me. I haven’t tested a lot of their skincare products yet, but the few I already did are satisfying to use. I’ll probably get around to trying out more Lanbena products some time in the future, so I thought to explore their products to create a basic skincare routine.
Cleanser
Lanbena has liquid face cleansers but what’s unique to their product lineup is their soap cleansers. It’s generally thought that soaps are too harsh to use for the face but with the addition of hyaluronic acid to the ingredients, it might not be drying at all. I’m eyeing the Lanbena Hyaluronic Acid Handmade Soap Facial Cleanser (P400) but the Lanbena Handmade Soap Facial Cleanser 3 pcs (P1,150) is an option that will allow me to try all variants.
Toner
It’s a toss up between the Lanbena 24K Gold Peptide Toner (P319) and the Lanbena Vitamin C Facial Toner (P319). The first is for anti-aging and addresses fine lines while the second is for brightening and combat skin dullness.
Serum
Whether it’s creating a skincare routine from scratch or improving an existing skincare routine, a serum is a good addition to a routine. The Lanbena Serum Series (P200 each) has 5 serum options; except for the Acne Treatment Serum, I’m interested in all of them. At 15ml per bottle, it’s doable to have multiple bottles open at the same time and finish them within a few months.
Moisturizer
During the Shopee 8.8 Mega Flash Sale, I purchased the Lanbena Hyaluronic Acid Facial Cream (P280) but I haven’t opened it yet. I am also interested in trying out the Lanbena 24K Gold Peptide Facial Cream (P376) since it is made for anti-aging.
Sunscreen
I am a believer of applying sunscreen regularly so I included the category for this routine. Lanbena has 2 sunscreens but I can’t discern the difference between them. The Lanbena Purple Whitening UV Sunscreen Cream SPF50+/PA+++ (P199) is supposedly waterproof and sweatproof with some whitening effect.
That completes a basic skincare routine with Lanbena products. As a brand, they use a lot of natural ingredients and while it’s ok on me, some people may have an adverse reaction to it. It’s a good thing that Lanbena is affordable enough and offers super discount flash sales so trying out a lot of products is doable.
