I’m always looking forward to trying out new lip products from new Korean brands. You may have heard of barenbliss on social media for their loose powder and compact powder. They were also the “top 1 in the Shopee liptint category” last November 2021 and won the “most popular korean liptint in Beautynesia” in December of the same year. barenbliss was co-founded by makeup artist Jina Kim and the brand follows the B+N+B philosophy which means the following:
- Bare Essentials – the products are formulated with functional ingredients that improve the skin
- No Harm – 2,000 skin irritating ingredients are blacklisted from their products; see their ingredients blacklist here
- Bliss Moments – the products are well-designed to provide a pleasurable experience
The lip product I’m featuring today is the barenbliss Kiwi Tin Tint Lip & Cheek (P399). It has 4 shades available and I was able to try out the 03 Reddy Ready, a deep mulberry red. It’s a long lasting tint in a cute travel friendly packaging, though the tin color you get is completely random like a blind box item.
One of its key ingredients is the Kiwi Fruit Extract, hence the name of the product. It is an antioxidant that, together with other ingredients like Vit E, Jojoba Oil, Squalane, Olive Oil, and Hyaluronic Acid, creates a “nourishing skin-loving formula”.
