Today’s post is about a nifty little beauty tool that I purchased a while back from Seek the Uniq – the Twist N Roll Tweezers easy hair threading tool. Now I try to go for a threading session at least once a month but I find that I need to go every three weeks. Unfortunately, sometimes my schedule doesn’t permit. When I saw this post from Tellie, I thought that I should give it a try but chickened out at the last minute. Thankfully, I saw the Twist N Roll Tweezers on Instagram.
At first I was hesitant as it seemed quite easy to use, too easy really that I don’t know why anyone would even choose to not use it. But I thought to myself that it looks easy in theory. What about in reality? So off I went to research online and found different videos showing different feedback on the threading tool. One video showed the user in pain from the device while another just breezed through it. In the end, I decided to give it a try as I do have high pain tolerance plus it would save me P100 every three weeks plus all the other miscellaneous expenses of going to the mall to get it done (e.g. parking, snacks).
Fast forward to a few months after and I’m happy to report that I love the Twist N Roll Tweezers! Honestly, it is really easy to use. Just follow the steps below (though I skip the hot towel part) and make sure to keep the tool clean and sanitized before and after every use. The actual removal of the hair feels kinda like threading except in smaller doses. Or at least for me because I’m quite used to the “plucking” sensation. I would recommend this if you want the ease of doing your maintenance at home by yourself any time you feel like it. You can also make sure that you get as many of the hairs as possible because there’s no time limit to this and you can really see everything in a mirror, especially if you use those magnifying ones.
